BFG (Become Foster Guardian) Kuwait is a volunteer-led rescue group that has been saving dogs and cats for over a decade. 

Our work begins in Kuwait, where our on-the-ground team, led by Leila, does the hardest part - rescuing animals from unsafe conditions, providing medical care, and helping them heal. Many of the animals we take in have been through neglect or abandonment, and every single one requires time, patience, and compassion to get them ready for a new life.

From there, our volunteer network expands to Maryland including a strong, supportive community right here in and around Baltimore. We are entirely volunteer-run.  Our fosters open their homes, giving these animals a safe place to land while they wait for their forever families. It’s a collective effort, built on trust, teamwork, and a shared belief that these animals deserve more.

At BFG Kuwait, we’re not just rescuing animals, we’re building a community around them.
