Carla Kenney, BFG Partner and representative in Massachusetts.
Carla, co-founder of the Greyson Hound Foster Fund, has been passionate about animal welfare for many years. She volunteered at a local greyhound rescue and was heavily involved in outreach work, traveling to schools presenting on the topic of animal welfare and having compassion towards all animals. Her beloved greyhound, Gill, accompanied her. She was also involved in outreach work to help end greyhound racing in the state of MA when racing was still legal.
In addition to adopting greyhounds, Carla has also adopted Italian greyhounds, a lurcher and salukis. Currently she has five salukis, three from Kuwait. She also has 3 cats, one is a sphinx from Kuwait.
When not working as a clinician treating children and adults with OCD and related disorders (with her co-worker, Max, the saluki), she is volunteering her time fostering. Carla also started an online pet pantry in 2025 for pet parents in the local area in hope to decrease the financial burden that many are facing.
Her newest interest is in wildlife rehabilitation. Carla hopes to take the Wildlife Rehab exam and become licensed in 2027.
